Summary: This course is intended to serve as an introduction to renewable energy microgrids for consultants and end users. The presentation covers common components found in a microgrid system, including photovoltaic modules and energy storage options, with a comparison of common technologies seen in the industry. Also covered will be common tools for designing and specifying microgrid systems and a case study on an off-grid facility in the USA.
